Heather is a character in the novel Final Destination: Dead Reckoning. She is a vapid sorority girl who is an acquaintance of Charlie Delgado, and constantly vies for his attention along with her "frenemy" Amber, and is a casualty of the Club Kitty collapse.
Biography
As Heather was inside the club watching The Vipers perform, the lead singer Jessica "Jess" Golden has a premonition of the club caving in and collapsing, killing everybody inside, including Heather.
Death
Upon viewing the premonition, Jess stood on stage and began to instruct the crowd to go outside before shouting out that the whole place would soon collapse. Heather decided to remain inside the club whilst Amber convinces Charlie to go outside for a cigarette. Suddenly, the club collapsed just as Jess predicted, killing Heather.
Signs/Clues
- In Jess' vision of the club collapsing, Heather was killed when a girder swings down from the ceiling and smashes into her. Since she didn't leave, it can be assumed she died in the same fashion.
- On her way to the club, Jess spots a homeless man nearby, doing his own spastic dance. Jess and the other survivors of the collapse would have several more encounters with this vagrant, who is implicated as having foreseen the club collapse along with Jess.
- While waiting in line to get into the club, Jess notices the "Enter Here" sign above the entrance has been defaced, with "Abandon fate, all ye who" having been scrawled on top of the sign.
- Inside the club, Jess is approached by Ben, who comments on how lame the club is. Jess agrees, responding that taking TNT to the place and completely demolishing it would be an improvement.
