Michael Simms is a mentioned character in the novel Final Destination: Looks Could Kill. He is the husband of Joan Simms.
Biography
A wealthy and childless couple, Michael and Joan wanted to have a child, so they travel to the foster home William "Brut" Simms was staying at and adopt him. However, the couple quickly realizes that Brut is disruptive and out of control, and he never told either of them he loved them. Brut overhears the couple contemplating taking him back to the foster home, and after observing the other happy children, he throws his arms around his mother one day and tells her he loves her and begins to behave properly. Their thoughts of taking him back were gone soon afterwards.
