Build it is a hardware depot where Ian McKinley and Erin Ulmer worked.

History

Wendy Christensen and Kevin Fischer went to Build it to warn Ian McKinley and his girlfriend Erin Ulmer about their impending deaths. As Ian and Erin were working their shifts, Ian shot a pigeon dead and Erin threw it away. Ian then leaves his nail gun unlocked on top of a box and heads to Wendy, Kevin, and Erin. Meanwhile, as Ian and Erin were working on cleaning before closing the store, several items cause a forklift to function. The forklift knocked over a stand of window cleaner before crushing them and knocking over a shelf of hardware tools and wooden materials. While Wendy saved Ian, Death skipped over to Erin, causing her to fall backwards and be impaled several times by Ian's unlocked nail gun, the same nail gun Ian used to kill pigeons.

Five months later, Wendy boarded Train 081 with her classmates Laura and Sean. There, she began noticing several omens, including advertisements for businesses where several survivors of the roller coaster derailment were killed, including one for Built it, before the train's derailment.
